...And Then We Had Twins...: My how time flies

It's been a month now since we've blogged last. I guess with the holidays coming and going we must have lost track of time. Here's the short recap... A few days after we blogged, Jordan had a work accident which kept him off of work for about a week and a half. Fortunately for us, his being off of work helped us so we could spend more time with our families over Christmas. Lindsey's sister, April, was able to spend the week of New Years with us to help out with the boys and just play until she flew home New Years Day. We had a lot of fun. About a week later, Lindsey's little sister, Megan, and brother-in-law, Andrew, came to visit for a couple of days as well. Most recently, we also had Grandpa Tackett come to spend a day with his grandbabies. We've really enjoyed all of our visitors and love getting more time to spend with our families.

As far as the boys go, they are now 9 1/2 months old now and unimagineably mobile. Eli is army crawling everywhere and starting to get frustrated that he can't keep up with his brother. Sometimes he tightens up while he screams and shakes a little. We call it "the Hulk" face. Yikes, looks like he's going to have a real temper on him! As for Baker, he's standing up against furniture and using it to walk everywhere he can get to. It won't be long before he's standing on his own. Also, probably our favorite accomplishment is that we've gotten the boys off of their bottles and on to sippy cups. Wahoo! It took a little cohersion and some tears, but Jordan and I made it out okay--just kidding.

We caught Baker climbing up the stairs--looks like it's time for baby gates. Glad Nahla was there to make sure he didn't fall while mom and dad took pictures.
